Burton Harris, the fourth cousin twice-removed on the mother's side of Nigel Horne, was born in Fort Wayne, Allen, Indiana, USA on Jun 10, 19021 and married Victoria Perian (with whom he had 6 children: Mildred Betty, Burton Franklin, Harold Leon, Carl V, Robert Rudolph and Nancy Marie) in Boswell, Somerset, Pennsylvania, USA on Mar 1, 19213.

Throughout his life, Burton lived in several places: on Sinclair Street, Fort Wayne, Allen, Indiana, USA on May 4, 1910; at 217 Duck Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana on Apr 1, 19304; at 2318 Curdes Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1939 and on Apr 12, 19401; and at 921 1/2 Sherman Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1963.

He died on Mar 2, 1963 in Fort Wayne2 (fort Wayne Journal Gazette, 3 March 1963, page 11A: Burton F. Harris Sr., 60 of 921 1/2 Sherman St., was dead on arrival at 4:45 p.m. yesterday at the Lutheran Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne.,; Surviving are four sons, Harold, Burton F. Jr., Carl V. and Robert R., all of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Clowser, Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Betty Ramirez, in California; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Shank and Mrs. Bobbie Jones, both of Fort Wayne; a brother, Charles, Fort Wayne; his former wife, Mrs. Vicki Harris of Fort Wayne, 30 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the C. M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today) and was buried there at Lindenwood Cemetery on Mar 5, 1963.
