The son of James Jordan (a horsekeeper) and Julia Culmer,

Christopher Jordan, the second cousin twice-removed on the mother's side of Nigel Horne, was born in Faversham, Kent, England on Feb 18, 18911, was baptized there on Mar 20, 1891 and married Elizabeth Moore (with whom he had 1 child, Chris Edouard) in New Zealand in 19163.

Throughout his life, he lived at 2 Mill Place in Faversham on Apr 5, 18915 and on Mar 31, 19016; and at 20 Hutchinson Avenue, New Lynn, Auckland, New Zealand in 19284. On Jul 14, 1937 he arrived in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.He traveled from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada c. 1937. On Jul 17, 1917 he was serving in the military.

He died on Nov 23, 1965 in Auckland, Auckland2 and was buried there at Waikumete Cemetery after Nov 23, 1965.
