He preceded her in death, September 20, 2000. Rosemary was a member of the Brazil United Pentecostal Church. She was a devoted Christian wife, mother, and grandmother. Taking care of her family was important to her and she showed her love by taking care of the garden, canning, cooking and being with family. She absolutely put attending church as her priority. She is survived by her children, Michael Bixler, Dennis Bixler, Brenda Salb and Rita Lamb; grandchildren, Kenny Duncan, Misty Gorrell (Jimmy), Heather McCullough (Greg), Eddie Childress, Leslie South, Branden Salb, Brett Salb, Robert Lamb II, Becky Brill; 12 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren; one sister Treva Shepherd; many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by parents; her husband Rev. George Bixler, one daughter Carolyn Childress and son Donald Bixler; two sisters Alice Schiebel and Shirley Wall; one brother Clarence Shepherd. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00pm at French Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Warner. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11-1) and was buried at Fairview Cemetery, 1160 South County Road 550 East, Brazil, Indiana on Sep 4, 2024 following her funeral on French Funeral Home, 421 E National Avenue, Brazil, Clay, Indiana, USA.
