Sarah Peters, the 3 times great-grandmother of Nigel Horne, was born in Folkestone, Kent, England c. 17811,2,3, was baptized there at Parish Church of St Mary & St Eanswythe on Apr 14, 1782 and also married James Tutt (a farm bailiff with whom she had 4 children: James, Edmund, Elizabeth and Maria) there, on Oct 3, 18015.

Sarah spent all of her life in Kent, England. Throughout her life, she lived in several places around the county: in Cheriton, Kent, England on Jun 6, 18411; at 5 Shortlands Farm, Beckenham on Mar 30, 18517; and at Horn Street in Cheriton on Apr 7, 18613, when she was living with her daughter Maria following the death of her husband on Apr 18, 1856.

She died in Oct/nov 1861 in Cheriton4 and was buried there on Nov 10, 18616.
