Anna Poysden, the four times great-aunt of Nigel Horne, was born in St Lawrence, Thanet, Kent, England c. 18051,2, was baptized in Canterbury, Kent, England on May 1, 1808 and married William Strand (an agricultural laborer with whom she had 4 children: Eliza, William, Joseph Thomas and Edwin) in Sturry, Kent, England on Jun 1, 18337.

Throughout her life, she lived in Chislet, Kent in 18411; and in Upstreet, Kent on Mar 30, 18519.

She died on Sep 16, 1878 in Chislet, Kent3,4,5,6 and was buried there at St Mary The Virgin on Sep 22, 18786,8.
