Harrison Peters, the third cousin twice-removed on the father's side of Nigel Horne, was born in Richibucto, Kent, New Brunswick, Canada on Aug 29, 18671,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and married Maria Robertson (with whom he had 4 children: May, Ross, Blanche Viola and Marie Jean) in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada on Jun 24, 18909.

Throughout his life, Harrison lived in several places: at his birthplace in 18718 and in 18812; in Rossland, Kootenay Boundary, British Columbia in 19013; in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Canada in 19064 and in 19115; and in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on Jun 1, 19216.

He died on May 25, 1925 in Calgary, Alberta7 and was buried there at Burnsland Cemetery after May 25, 19257.
