Henry Colpitts, the third cousin twice-removed on the father's side of Nigel Horne, was born in Pleasant Vale, Albert, New Brunswick, Canada on Sep 19, 18841,2,3,4,5, was baptized in Hillsborough, Albert, New Brunswick, Canada c. 1888 and married Mary Buchanan (with whom he had 4 children: William Hector, Harold Alistair, Donald Ralph and Priscilla Anne, along with 3 surviving children) in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on Apr 17, 19127.

Throughout his life, he lived in Elgin, Albert, New Brunswick, Canada in 18911 and in 19012 (the same place as his father had been living in 1891); and in Toronto, Manitoba c. 19163.

He died on Mar 21, 1975 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada4,6 and was buried at Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main St, West Saint Paul, Manitoba on Mar 24, 1975 following his funeral at Bardal Funeral Home.
