Throughout his life, he lived at his birthplace on Jan 1, 19201; and in Jackson, Missouri on Apr 1, 19302 (the same place as his mother had been living on Aug 8, 1870).

He died on Apr 24, 1943 in King City, Missouri and was buried there after Apr 24, 1943.
