Samuel Howe, the third cousin three-times-removed on the mother's side of Nigel Horne, was born in Gentry, Missouri, USA on Aug 28, 18801,2 and. He married Dollie Workman (with whom he had 1 surviving child) in King City, Missouri on Oct 1, 1899.

Throughout his life, he lived at 5 Empire Avenue, Jackson, Missouri on Jun 1, 19001; and in Jackson, Missouri on Apr 15, 19102 (the same place as his mother had been living on Aug 8, 1870).

He died on May 7, 1911 in King City, Missouri and was buried there after May 7, 1911.
