Johanna Brooker, the 3 times great-grandmother of Nigel Horne, was born in Minster, Thanet, Kent, England on Dec 13, 18111,2,3,4,5,6, was baptized there at St Mary the Virgin Church on Jan 5, 1812 was married twice - to Daniel Edwards (on Sep 18, 1829 in Minster) Thomas Foreman (on Jun 22, 1856 in St Lawrence, Thanet, Kent, England, following the death of Daniel in Jul/aug/sep 1847)8. She had 2 children, both with Daniel Edwards: Johanna Brooker and Stephen.

Johanna spent all of her life in Kent, England. Throughout her life, she lived in several places around the county: in St Lawrence on Apr 6, 18411; at Chapel Row, St Lawrence in Thanet on Mar 30, 185111; and in St Lawrence in 18613, in 18714 and in 18815.

She died on Apr 4, 1885 at 3 Claremont Gardens, St Lawrence in Thanet6,7 (heart failure and bronchitis. Death certificate says aged 64, but I believe that is a mistake, it should read 74.) and was buried there on Apr 8, 18857,9,10.
