Emma Beak, the wife of Charles Culmer (the great-great-uncle of Nigel Horne), was born in Preston, Kent, England on Sep 25, 18541,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, was baptized there on Oct 28, 1855 and also married Charles (an agricultural laborer with whom she had 11 children: Henry Gage, Charlotte Ann, Alfred, Charles, William James, George, Fred, Edith Emily, Edward, Arthur Thomas and Georgina Hannah) there at St Mildred's Church, on Aug 22, 187411 (Jul/Aug/Sep).
